How does a café photograph well without becoming a stage set?
Site & Context
A Parisian café concept of roughly 110 m², built around classic joinery, molded ceilings and antique mirror rather than the fast, trend-led look common to café interiors.
Many café interiors lean on fast, trend-led decoration that dates quickly. Cafe Lumiere works from classic Parisian detailing instead, so the room can be photographed and still be a place to sit.
Materials & Palette
Classic Parisian detailing, including antique mirror, molded ceilings and brass fixtures, is paired with a controlled, warm lighting plan that shifts the room's mood from morning service to evening.
Design Intent
A café interior with enough material honesty to age well, built around a lighting and seating logic that works at every hour of service.
